Collection: Memory Specimens

Memory Specimens are composed from collected natural forms using a warm-toned cyanotype process. Plants, mushrooms, grasses, and found objects become quiet records of place, gathered and preserved through light.
Each painting is assembled slowly through layers of paper, paint, texture, and time. I am less interested in describing the world than in preserving the traces it leaves behind.
