Happy and Fleeting Release 1/10/26

Life once felt like moving through shifting weather — moments of calm, turbulence, and sudden clarity. Through it, I came to understand that nothing stays fixed; both beauty and difficulty are transient, and that transience gives them weight.
My work emerges from this awareness. I explore the movement of emotion, memory, and energy — the way they transform before we can define them. The abstract botanicals reflect nature’s own rhythm of growth, decay, and renewal: unpredictable, imperfect, and full of grace.
As each painting evolves through layered reversals — the background often painted last, allowing earlier marks to surface unexpectedly. These traces become quiet records of change and persistence.
*Happy and Fleeting* is a meditation on impermanence — an ode to transformation, stillness, and the fleeting joy that endures within constant change.
